A great investment well worth the money that was paid for it. Just remember when setting it up leave everything off until the syncing is complete. I connected my ps4 and wow gaming had been intense. I hope hue makes an 8k version very soon. Thanks hue for making investing in your products awesome.

This product works perfectly with certain tvs like hdr 10 but not hdr 10+. In the right setting, the right tv and the right amount of hue lights (4+ in the room), the hue play hdmi sync box performs well and will transform your living room into a theatrical piece of art.
Received item in good condition and it works like magic on my tv. Price was on the high side so hope the box can last long.

My 8-year old saw it and immediate jaw drop: ‘i’m actually at a concert?’.This is the single best home av upgrade i have made beyond a large screen tv. That said, if you’re watching tv or movies, you might want to turn down the intensity level via the app. I like low intensity for tv, and high intensity for music. Small downsides to be aware of: you’ll need an hdmi input. So if you use a smarttv, you’ll need an input from something (apple tv, or other).
