Forlovv 2021 New Upgrade Amplified HD Digital Antenna
I thought i would try newer technology to get better reception on my tablo dvr for local channels. I tested it on my new tv to get an easy test. It’s hard to call plugging in installation. I just set it in the window and turned on the auto program on the tv. First cut got 72 channels compared to 61 on my other unit. Cw was a choppy like my other antenna so i turned it a bit reran auto program on tv. 74 channels and cw was good. I had spent many hours trying to get good reception on my older high tech antenna. I have left this on for 3 weeks and still no problem. I get high definition on all local high def channels.
After buying a 2nd big box store, flat screen antenna (with some kind of amplifier the 2nd time), and still having horrible pixilation (messing up audio and picture for a good 10 seconds at a time), i decided to spring for a better indoor/outdoor antenna as being in phoenix i shouldn’t have problems getting good signal strength. So, i hooked this one up to my tv, and strung the nice, long, cord to the top of my desk hutch, only about 20′ away, towards the back yard, more in the direction to where the stations’ repeaters(?) are. I then strung it farther and hooked it to map pins on the wall. I ran my tv through a channel find and, although i’m not sure i have more channels than with the cheaper 2nd flat window antenna, the information showing on my tv’s station list is more complete as i can now see the station names instead of just a number. Now, i do still have a tiny bit of pixelating happening, on occasion, but only briefly, which doesn’t disturb my viewing of the shows and the audio isn’t interrupted. I am somewhat concerned that the light weight ‘body’ of the antenna ‘box’ might not do so well in the direct sun as the back yard gets all the sun time along with our usual 110+ degree summer days we get. So, i can easily put up with a second, now and then, of pixilation, which i’m not entirely sure has anything to do with this antenna at all. Bottom line, i’m very happy with this purchase. Was extremely easy to ‘install’ inside too.

This is my third antenna i have tried the first two did not pick up stations or glitched badly however this antenna picked up most of the stations in a major city that i live about 60 miles from. I just set it on my stereo stand next to the tv and it worked.
This product was easy to install and pulled in twice as many as a flat panel antenna. As you can see, i just have it placed on a small clock to test it. The next picture shows how many channels it found without me really focusing on where i should place it, et cetera. I am seriously considering cutting the cord; i bought this to watch 1 channel (grit) and it went way above my expectations.
