J portable dvd player today. I let it charge fully until the green light was on. I then went through the setup process easily and quickly. I played a dvd from beginning to end with no problems. I then tried more dvd’s to made sure it worked. I came across a few dvd’s that would not play. Not sure why as they were marked region 1 just like the other ones. Thinking they were knockoffs. My fault and has nothing to do with this dvd player.

Loved the dvd player but so upset it broke after very minimal use. The charging cord was missing and company great and sent me another one. Won’t play now or even come on. Update: the company read my review and shipped a replacement free of charge. The dvd player is great and i was upset about the quality but the company made it right.

Update (07/07/2020): changed from 3 stars to 4. 5 stars** seller sent replacement dvd player. Added 1 star for great customer service, a seller that stands behind their product. ** added 1/2 star for acceptable explanation for quicker battery drain like amount of brightness during usage. The area this dvd player was prevalently used during trial did have a good amount of sunlight and movies were watched with frequent start/stop. =========================================================================* dvd player is acceptable, but i can only watch 1 full movie, it just suddenly turns off when watching second movie, no warnings about low battery. It works again once plugged in. Maybe i got a defective copy ?* picture quality is acceptable for price. * closed caption does not work on the dvd player i received, tried many different dvds, same result.

Bought this to replace a broken one that got a lot of use on our many road trips and i’m very happy with his purchase. Other players of this size are around twice as much and you really wouldn’t want to go any smaller. Great picture and louder than my older player. The remote control has dozens of buttons so i don’t know what all that is for but this player also comes with the ability to read sd cards and flash drives if you save videos, music or photos there you want to access on the go. Comes with car charger and audio cord so you can hook the dvd player up to a television at home, at a hotel, or at a vacation home and watch dvd on the bigger screen so that is awesome.

Your browser does not support html5 video.  we purchased this for a trip & i just got it out of the box & fully charged it to give it a quick test run. Picture quality looks great, sound is great. We shall see how it holds up to a 10 hr car ride. I recommend reading the instruction manual. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the volume up or down until reading that you have to do a long hold on the volume, otherwise it just ‘rewinds’ the dvd a few seconds.

“OK” button means “play”, “STOP” button means “pause”.

Please use the original power adapter.

It is normal if hearing a loud sound when reading a disc for the first 15 seconds.

Please remove the disc and replace it with other discs if the DVD player shows “no disc”.

Please fully charge the DVD player before using it.

It is highly recommended to recharge this DVD player every 3 months. Please keep the cell under half charge statue, neither fully charge nor discharge if long term storage.

You can also tie your DVD player on the car via the car headrest bag to keep your kids quiet during driving.
