Mount-It! Long Arm TV Mount

This thing has a huge reach. Longest extension i’ve seen. I replaced my 42′ tv with a new 65′ and needed something hefty. It’s heavy and while i did manage to install in by myself, two people would have made it easier. Attaching the tv was brain dead and super simple. Two hooked bars attach to back of tv and then hang on the cross bars on the unit. Then there are clips that screw in to the bar that keep is from sliding. I put this on a plaster wall (yes it’s in studs. Lol) and so far tv is holding up well, moves easy and with 40′ reach can pretty much adjust the viewpoint anyway i want.

The mount is well designed and constructed. Everything necessary for installation was included (including a little wrench if you are totally toolless. ) it holds the tv perfectly at full extension. I have it mounted in a bookcase and it allows me to utilize the space behind the tv. Had occasion to call customer service and while it took a little while to hook up with a live representative, when i deed he was completely knowledgeable and patient – took as much time with me as i needed and totally resolved the question. I will probably never have need for a mount like this again but i will definitely buy mount-it mounts in the future for my computer monitor and whatever else i might need.

Comes with everything you need to mount to wooden studs or concrete wall. Even fully extended to 40” there is no sagging. My 65” tv is in a 12” deep nook and i can fully extend and rotate the tv perpendicular to the wall and view the tv without obstruction from the side.

My living room and office are attached. But i wanted to have my tv in a corner that i wouldn’t be able to see from the office. How am i supposed to watch this is us while playing world of warcraft??. The arm is long enough that i can have the tv tucked nicely in the corner and then swing full around to give me 50′ of the pearsons right in my face while fighting baddies. I’m never leaving my house again.

Went to best buy to see if they had anything i could get in person. Of course, they tell me that these aren’t made. Showed him the link here in amazon, and he then tried to tell me that they’re dangerous and don’t work. I managed to install this beast by myself (i highly recommend calling a friend, it’s heavy af) and i’m happy to say that not only is it strong enough to resist constant staring of my feet kicking it (i have my tv over my bed), but that it’s already withstood a few of southern california’s earthquakes. I have a 65” curved tv on it, which weights about 50lbs. It works greati *did* have to get a couple longer metric bolts for the vesa mounts, but that was a quick $3 pickup from my local home depot. At nearly 1/2 the price of best buy’s bulky 12” wall mount extension, i highly recommend this for all tv applications within its stated parameters.
