XGIMI Horizon Pro 4k Projector

Easy to use automatic setup, still learning.

The android tv works just like my tv which is nice. The picture is stunning and crystal clear. Sometimes skin/faces in movies get a weird/grainy effect from the processing like noise removal so i turned those off in the settings. Hbomax crashes, so i had to get an apple tv 4k which works surprisingly well together with the projector when a setting to allow hdmi control is turned on under settings. The auto key correct is super nice. It’s fun just to do that function and watch the ai figure the wall out. Games look great, movies look great, overall very nice projector.

I bought the optoma uhd38, and the lamp stopped working after 3 months after i purchased it. I contacted customer service, but they only provide 90-day warranties for their lamp. They list the lamp life as 15,000 hours, but they won’t replace mine for free even though it stopped working under their warranty policy. So sadly, i had to pay more than $150 to replace the lamps. And you guessed it, the new lamp stopped working. I saw a few others complaining about this too. Eventually, i threw the optoma out and bought this projector. Great 4k picture, and it is easy to see darker scenes in movies even with all the lights off.

Apps would crash, video would go fuzzy with no course for repair other than to turn it off and on. I also bought the stand and the massive power adapter for the horizon pro doesn’t fit, even though it says it’s compatible with it. Unfortunate, because the projector is small and sleek, the quality is solid, and the keystone correction is legit.

The audio of this projector works great, and i needn’t prepare an extra audio speaker. I really love the auto-adjustment feature. In this way, there is no limitation about the wall and the position of placement. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
