Hisense Uled Premium 65-Inch Class U8g Quantum Series Android 4k Smart Tv

Hisense quality control is really back, if you get lucky and received the 1st tv in good condition is really good picture and color accurate if you are like me then the 1st one would come with a crack screen the 2nd one will come with dead pixels on the screen and that is from the factory the tv boxes came without damage at least amazon return policy is good so enjoy back and forward from ups store, recommendation with the money that you save get extended warranty + good cable set, the tv gets really hot so keep it well ventilated good luck.

I did so many research while trying to get a tv, i almost settled for a sony, a samsung, and lg, but after researching into much of these tv, they had two or more shortcomings. I saw this tv shoot in price from 1140 to 1500 in hours. I am soooo glad i got it for 1140$this tv is very bright, so you def would have to touch up on the setting, (its beyond going to brightness and reducing it)this tv is loud. I don’t think i have ever gone above 20 and i am not sure i need a soundbar no more. I can also mirror my android and apple phone(third party app)should i go on.

First the good: this tv has a terrific 4k picture in both bright rooms or darkened rooms and it is cheaper than most of the competition. I cannot comment on its gaming capabilities. The android operating system has snappy performance and comes with a bunch of apps preloaded or you can download most other ones from the google play store. This tv is not the thinnest tv out there, so if that is important to you, look elsewhere. It has a very attractive and stable metal stand, but it does have quite a big footprint, so there may not be lots of room left on the top of your entertainment center, unless you wall mount the tv. My single biggest peeve with this tv is the four bright yellow led’s on the front of the tv. They come on if you want to disable the microphone which is used to both give commands to the tv as well as normal google assistant questions such as what will the weather be tomorrow?. If you want privacy and slide the front-mounted switch to the off postion, the four led’s come on and stay on all the time, even when the tv is off. There is also another white led on the front which stays on when the tv is off, but a recent firmware update now allows you to switch that led off, but not the other four yellow ones.

I shopped around and landed on this hisense. Pros:-great picture for dark scenes-colors pop-super brightcons:-motion is meh-with an appletv, sometimes you need to reset otherwise every time you flip to a different app, channel, etc it goes dark for a second-if you shut off the mic with switch on tv you get yellow lights on bottom that won’t turn off-even though you don’t have google assistant on when the mic is on and it hears something similar to saying google it will kick over to the setup assistant. Super annoyingas the title says it’s nice for the price. I tried a comparable tcl and the picture quality was way worse.

I bought this tv to replace a vizio oled tv that i bought just a couple months ago and then accidentally hit the screen w/ a ball and. Vizio is noted for having the cheapest oled, but still, oled is supposed to be the best picture. I got the hisense based on reviews i read elsewhere that rated its picture very highly, especially the brightness. I expected a picture slightly worse than my oled, but was surprised when this is very noticeably sharper. Even on the cartoons my kids watch, the cartoons pop noticeably brighter. The picture reminds me of movies i have seen in theaters that have a ‘high frame rate’. Note, some people don’t like that crisp, sharp look, but i am very impressed. Supposedly, one downside to this tv is a poor picture from sharp angles, but i can’t see what they are talking about. The picture looks great to me from all angles.
