The thing i liked most was that i could connect this player and monitor for the kids without having to have a company hard-wire the system into the vehicle. I was quoted $200 to hard wire a different system so this is an amazing deal. The sound and picture quality is good. I was nervous about the remote getting lost or batteries dying, so i was very happy to see the screens have touch buttons too to control the dvds without the remote. The brackets did not fit our vehicle, so we used the straps which so far are working great. I would recommend this dvd player and monitor.
This dvd system started out great, it was easy to install with the mounting brackets, the cords were easy to hook up, and so far it has played without a problem. The only complaint i have is the mounting bracket for the main player doesn’t hold position so every time we hit a bump in the road the screen falls to the lowest facing position. It’s been super inconvenient and needs frequent repositioning. I’m not sure if we received one that was previously used by someone else and that’s the issue or if it’s just made poorly. I took the headrest straps off to mount them to the headrest and left them at home or else we could fix the problem temporarily. The second screen has had no issues with staying in position. We also never received an instruction manual with ours.
Our old dodge grand caravan had a built-in dvd player and it was really nice for the kids on long trips. Now we have upgraded to a ford e-350 without a built-in dvd player. Easy to set up, easy to use, no problems. The secondary screen is noticeably lower-resolution than the primary, but i don’t think the kids really can tell the difference. This can be used with only the primary screen, by the way. Especially in a smaller vehicle, you may only need the one. It just depends on your setup and on how many people want to watch and where they are seated. It does look like a lot of cords hanging between the seats, yes, but this isn’t a problem for us.
This is definitely a lifesaver for the car. We have one in the drive seat and the other on the passenger rear seat for our backward sitting baby. I hardly hear them complain anymore in the back. Cons:i don’t recommend getting a movie that has a lot of night scenes. The picture quality is not great for that. Also the remote is hard to use from the passenger seat. Other than that i would recommend. Update: one of my screens stopped playing sound. Contacted customer service and they sent a new one.
I bought this for an upcoming road trip so that my kids will chill in the back seat. I tested everything and so far everything seems to work as described. I have tried a thumb drive with avi files on them but haven’t been able to get them to work yet. I am going to reduce the resolution to the recommended size and see if that will work. I will update once i get that to work. The brackets are nice and secure. I can’t imagine there will be any issues with them. Both screens are super easy to attach. I do wish the wires were longer so i could figure out some type of routing in the car instead of having them hang there, but i will figure something out. Screens look nice and the volume is a good volume, although hopefully we will be using headphones and won’t need the monitor speakers.

Volume Adjustment of Slave Monitor
- Volume of child monitor could change with main one.
- We could also adjust volume of slave monitor separately when press MENU twice on touch keyboard, see VOLUME, press UP to increase 20 of slave monitor. (Note: if we adjust it, it won’t change with main player while playing together.)
