Klipsch Reference Theater Pack 5

I got this system to have 5. 1 surround sound in my bedroom. I have been delighted with this set for many reasons. I paired the klipsch speakers with a denon avr x2600h and i couldn’t be more pleased with the sound from the speakers and the subwoofer. I love the wireless subwoofer, and i love the airplay 2 integration. Movies are more immersive, music has better bass response, and i love the little features like the magnetic grilles. I think i’d have felt these were a good value at full retail, but on sale?. One of the best purchases i’ve made for my personal enjoyment for a long time. Buy one and you won’t be sorry.

We’ve partnered them with a denon avr-s750h and lg c9. They sound amazing in our room, which is sized 20×20 with 10ft ceilings. Going from no home theater system to this was the perfect upgrade at an entry level price. The subwoofer shakes the whole house and has to be kept below 50% volume at a -6db setting so its more than enough punch to offer some great low frequencies. Atmos, dolby dts etc all sound great to our ears after calibration of the avr using denon’s audyssey feature. 1 set is more than enough for a small room for users who don’t need to blast their ears off with sound. I do have a couple gripes for them, but they aren’t big enough gripes to cause a decrease in rating.

These speakers, klipsch, were over $1,000 and i paid much less on amazon. As i said, money being tight i bought my receiver, onkyo av tx-rz730 a year ago from amazon. Got it paid for, bought these wonderful sounding powerful klipsch speakers and love them. Next i am setting up my 65” qled 70 series on my wall. Then lastly a beautiful vent free fireplace. It is going to be beautiful setting. I pray for many romantic nights with my gorgeous precious wife. Life is good when god is in control. As i was saying, i went to best buy, and the geek squad came to my house, they said, if they could install my speakers, it was gonna cost a lot.

I’ve had these for about a month. Very clear and transparent sound. I still haven’t ‘dialed’ in the perfect sound, but that just involves tinkering with the receiver. Gave it 4 stars only due to the fact that even though i waited for the price to go down on these, they are normally a bit expensive. Sound great with movies and music.

Compact size speakers, easily placeable, easy to hook up. Myself, i think i’d go with some larger fr, and fl speakers. High frequencies were reproduced well, and the bass (with separate volume control) work fine. Just couldn’t produce the mid-range (5 to 8k) enough for me. All in all, though, pretty good deal for the money.
