Roku Streambar Pro | 4k/Hd/Hdr Streaming Media Player & Cinematic Sound
This roku smart soundbar is fantastic. This was my third attempt to purchase a sound bar for my livingroom tv. The previous two soundbars (not roku. They were different brands altogether) were complicated in their setup and did not put out high quality sound and had their own remote contols that i had to use to control the soundbar functions while still needing the tv remote to control the tv. But this roku smart soundbar is awesome. The sound from it is a room filling, theater quality, hifi experience. It was super easy to hook up to the tv. One hdmi cable to the tv and one power cord to the wall outlet. The roku remote turns my tv on and off and controls the tv volume thus eliminating the need for two remotes.
Came with everything i needed in the box to get started. I used the hdmi cord provided to the arc hdmi port on my tv, and turned the soundbar on. After following the easy on-screen directions i linked my soundbar to my roku account and it performed an update and downloaded all my apps. Upon listening to the soundbar, it’s very crisp and loud with 4 front facing speakers. This soundbar even has some tech that enhances the dialogue and has a night mode so sudden explosions and such are slightly muted and won’t disturb anyone sleeping. I’m totally satisfied with this smart soundbar having roku built in and premium audio quality at an affordable price.
I love it now i just need a bass box for it but other than that it’s freakin awesome two thumbs way up.
I’ve never had a sound system before. My daughter and her husband have a very expensive one that beats this by far, of course. They have four speakers in the room, plus one overhead, so it’s similar to being in a theater. I am hard of hearing, but can’t afford a hearing aid at the moment. So, i searched for a soundbar and this one seemed to have the best reviews. I can’t compare it to any others, but i do know i can drop the sound on my tv by at least 10 points now and still hear all the words. My roku tv also now has sound that is balanced, rather than music coming in so loud that i can’t understand what they are saying. All in all, i am very happy with this system. Having never set one up before, i would say this was very easy to do and i’m 76 years old. Instructions were simple and when the remote didn’t sync with it, i found out why very quickly and got it done just as easily.
I had a non smart tv with a roku dongle, but i ended up giving the dongle to my son. Then about a week later i noticed my tv speakers were squeaky and blown i know the sensible solution would be to just buy a new ‘smart’ tv. But keep in mind this was a 70 inch so i didn’t feeling like dropping 800 bucks on a new one. I had been eyeballing the roku soundbar at walmart but it was sold out everywhere. I got this one from amazon and i’m in love. Here are my favorite things about it. It’s not a huge heavy thing that takes up my whole dresser. It has a setting on there that’s easy to get to right on screen without having to leave the program you’re watching. Night mode tunes down the bass and makes it sound like regular tv speakers with clear voice. When i’m listening to pandora on the tv this sounds awesomeone single remote to control everything. This remote also turns on and off the tv so no more losing remotesthis solved my issues completely.
