I can play videos on my back porch and project holiday video for extra decorations. The video is pretty clear for being hd and ok bright at 3500 lumens. I can’t wait to hook this up and play video games outside which is easy to do by adding a device for casting or hooking up directly via hdmi. It has a speaker built in, but recommend external ones as it isn’t that great of an output at 2 watts. I have a bluetooth connector added to this that can play audio anywhere i want. I like the ease of the interface and navigation of the projector. I also like the long 3 year warranty which allows me to test the claim on the bulb longevity. Overall for the price of this, i am surprised and pleased with the quality and would recommend.

 we purchased this projector for an outdoor office party/movie night. The picture quality is going to satisfy most people i believe. We had it setup in our yard which has other ambient low light and it produced enough picture that we had zero complaints. If you are a true av junkie you will certainly notice how bright the black areas are in the picture. Perhaps all projectors are like this but this being our first i have no basis for comparison. Remember, i said “night”. If you try to compete with any daylight you will be disappointed. I think about 30 minutes after sunset was good for us. I’ll try to update with some ambient lux numbers when we use it next. The sound is enough for indoors in a quiet space, maybe for tv watching.

 i bought this particular brand because it came highly recommended by my sister. My sister bought the same a month ago and hers worked really well, had great picture and sound. She said “it will change your life. ” and it did not disappoint. It came with everything described. I was well aware of what i needed to set up connection with my external speaker. It has the capability to support a variety of devices with the proper adapter/cable connector necessary. But the compatibility is seamless and easy. I purchased a vga converter with three adapters to connect different devices (android, iphone, etc.

This projector worked fantastic for projecting halloween hologram onto mesh. Has a built in speaker and takes in hdmi. The picture projection is crisp and clear.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this projector considering the price. Is it perfect, no, but it is good enough to set up outside and enjoy a movie night on a big screen with friends and family. Here are my general comments on various elements of this projector. It is not 4k quality and like a tv today super sharp, but it is good enough to enjoy time outside with my family and friends. Sound – ok, i connect to a blue tooth enabled bar speaker i put behind the screen. That said, the sound quality is what i would expect from a small speaker in a projector. Good enough if there is not a lot of external noise. Don’t expect any booming base, think more like a drive-in movie speaker. Setup and adjustments – i found it easy to set up and it had relatively simple manual adjustments. I found the remote adjustments to not be super responsive, you must point the remote directly at the projector an even then it was a bit slow. Connectivity – i found it easy to connect to any hdmi device directly. If you want to connect to a phone, ipad, android phone or tablets then you must get an additional cable not included. Overall i am pleased with the quality of this projector at it’s price point. If you are looking for a higher quality hd 4k type image then you are going to have to spend $250 +.
