vankyo Performance V630w Wifi Projector

I owned a pair of vankyo wireless headphone and was very happy about the sound quality and overall build quality. Ever since then, i see vankyo as a brand offers good quality products at affordable price. When the time come for us to replace our 40” tv in our bedroom, i decided to go with projector to utilize the wall in our bedroom as projection screen to watch movies in nighttime. I did quite a lot research on budget projectors on amazon, reading review after review and try to nail down a projector in the $300 range and finally decided to go with this vankyo v630w. The setup is a breeze, only took me less than 5 minutes. The keystone correction came handy when adjusting the screen. I placed the projector about 14’ away and got a gigantic 135” screen. The picture quality of this native 1080p projector is crisp and bright, it offers an immersive cinema experience that i missed so much since the pandemic started. However, it’s a little bit blurry near the edge of the screen, but you wouldn’t notice it while watch movies. If you reduce the screen size to around 100’ you can barely notice it.

Unfortunately i have not been able to find a way to connect to my pc or cast to this which is the two things that are missing. It has a bunch of input options which i am happy with from vga, hdmi, av, usb. It comes with a case for storage which is a nice unexpected bonus. Also unexpected is the sound output this gives with a good medium loudness and option for bluetooth too. The picture provided has great clarity and really good brightness allowing this unit to be far away. Overall i am happy with it and would recommend.

I wanted to be a high-quality projector; therefore, i decided that i would give this one a go. Honestly, this was a lot more than i could have asked for because the native 1080p projector comes with wifi option. I got it several days ago and used it right away via my iphone. Love that it can support 5g wifi, fast streaming, and clear pictures. It is one of the first 5g wifi projectors in the market. The screen mirroring is awesome, and the operation is easy. I connect my switch via hdmi. It works great and has perfect quality images. It has changed how i watch movies at home. I didn’t realize until now how much i was missing out on the cinema experience. It has a native 1920×1080 resolution, the video quality is clear, looks great even against a white wall. The projector itself runs quietly, and the built-in speaker is good. There is no need to use an additional speaker. The only drawback is the size which is a little bulky, but for me it’s not a big deal because of the picture quality and other great options.

It’s capable of hd quality with built in speakers that can project a screen from 46” to 300”. It’s perfect for someone who wants an alternative to a bigger tv taking up your precious space or someone who just wants a hd projector. I’m addition to all this is a maintenance kit which includes a lens cloth and q-tips to keep the projector dust free. Unlike many other budget projectors, the projection on the v630 is a native 1920x1080p, and not just ‘hd-ready’. This deceptive term means they will accept an hd input but actually project closer to dvd resolution. The performance v630 features a 50,000 hour lamp life (though obviously i can’t verify that in a short time of testing), and a 10000:1 contrast ratio. This indicates the luminance ratio of the brightest color to the darkest color that a system can produce. To compare, movie theaters are usually around 500:1.

My husband and i decided to have our basement finished, and create an in home cinema. Due to the virus, we unfortunately have not been able to see a movie in the theaters for 7 months now. And this was one of our favorite past times as a family. We decided to splurge, and buy the best projector we could find, since it will be getting tons of usage. And so happy we decided on this model. This projector really is amazing, it has totally surpassed my expectations and more,the picture quality is just lovely, it’s bright, crisp and extremely clear. The machine is also incredibly quiet, the 5g phone mirror feature, it’s just wonderful, makes this projector choice totally hassle free,. We purchased the biggest screen compatible with this model, 300 inches, with 10 feet of distance between the two, we found this to be the perfect set up configuration, with the most optimal viewing experience. I couldn’t be happier, this projector has really brought our family together, we once again can enjoy great movies, on the big screen, and in the comfort of our own home. The machine itself is a beast, has a very solid durable build, and is designed to last.
