Easy to assemble, 38 feet of coax was a surprise, picture quality is outstanding. Will recommend to all my friends. Now receiving over 130 digital channels, very easy to install. As all electronics have a lifespan, unit will not function without the amplifier unit. Curious if that piece can be purchased seperately?.

Bought this antenna about two weeks ago and installed it. It picks up 40 channels even though we have a hill and lots of trees between our house and the tv transmitting stations. I ran the coaxial cable from the control box to where the splitter left by the cable company. The splitter was connected to coaxial cables which run to the rooms with tv access. This allows all the tv’s that had access to comcast cable to pick up the stations with this antenna. The rotation function works great. I’m very happy with it and canceled my comcast tv service.

Black stock, ontario out in farm country. In the ridges behind a big hill. It’s-25 right now so couldn’t mount on the roof. Decided to test out see if i could get any channels just placing on the second floor. Amazingly received 22 channels. My parents are so happy they where only getting 5 with there previous. Very impressed can’t wait to see how many more when i put up higher. Would suggest to anyone simple but effective. I’ve since attached the antenna outside on the old analog tower. Probably another 10 feet higher and now receive 30 channels.

The antenna itself is really light weight, feels like cheap plastic and literally weighs next to nothing which made me worried when i first unboxed it. The assembly was very easy to do, comes with ‘english’ written instructions and there are youtube videos of people putting this thing together if you prefer visual instructions rather than reading them. I was surprised at the reception quality on such a light piece of equipment. It comes with a motor and a remote control so you can remotely aim your antenna, but honestly if you look up in which direction to aim it you don’t really need to fiddle around once you got that part down, like i said, 75 channels perfect hd quality with out that stutter and lag 85 miles outside of city limits. It claims that it ranges to 150 miles but i couldn’t tell you if that were true or not, but i read a few other reviews and people who live further away from me get about the same amount of channels with perfect reception, for me at the range i am at it works perfectly. It is 4k ready for in the future when hd becomes a thing of the past and they start broadcasting in 4k but that’s probably a few years off so it’s future proof if anyone cares about that for their tech. I recommend making sure you fasten the unit at your home’s highest point for maximum reception and as i have said it’s super light weight so fasten it sturdy and well what ever you feel is necessary to weather a heady storm so the unit doesn’t fly away. Overall, for the low price i paid for it, i am not disappointed at all with this purchase. There is a red light on the unit, that must be glowing in order for the unit to receive signal.
