I mounted my 2010 panasonic viera 50′ tv which weighs a ton in about 40 minutes of the package arriving at my door. This thing has many many adjustment capabilities and feels absolutely solidnever even opened the instruction book. The entire mount is pre-assembled. Its nothing more than making sure your studs are 16′ on center, finding the stud you want to start with, mark center of the stud where you want to mount at, drill, insert one screw and snug to make sure the bracket will not move on you, level the bracket, mount opposing screw snugly, drill 2 bottom holes, insert the screws and tighten every thing up and mount the tv. Your donelook no further, at this price and the outstanding quality, you will not be disappointed.

First time buying a wall mount bracket. When i got the idea i was at best buy and noticed a mount that i thought would work in the location i was considering, with the need to be offset due to a sub panel and still have the tv cover the sub panel yet be able to easily access the sub panel. On a short closet wall, space was limited as was mounting options. The mount at best buy was 299. 00, they had another for 249. That almost put me out of any thought to use a wall mount bracket as the tv cost was not much more than that for a 50′ samsung i’d picked up at walmart on clearance. Got on amazon and saw similar style mounts at much cheaper cost. This one had particularly good reviews and was one of the least expensive so i gave it a try. The wall i wanted to mount it on was ~6′ in length with a sub panel just about in the middle at about picture height up from the floor.

I’ve owned this mount for about 4 months now and i continue to have to adjust the tv from tilting downward where my tv tilts all the way forward. I continue to have to unscrew the tilting screws and re-set the tv the way i want it and then tighten it back up for it to only tilt forward again after a few weeks. I found that these screws that hold the bracket in place are not designed very well or have notches allow for a better set way of keeping a tv titled in the correct position for long. I will probably end up modifying this part of the bracket so this won’t be an issue anymore, it would be nice if this bracket was engineered better in terms of how you set the tilt settings of the tv.

#1 if you don’t have a stud finder, you’ll spend about $30. 00#2 i already have 3 different size levels better than the ones they provide#3 measure not once but twice. Better make that a dozen times if not more. Finding the stud(s) is the most time consuming priority depending on how much pressure you put on the stud sensor, to little or to hard the reading is not always the same. You will be marking your wall with a pen or pencil. Hint have matching paint#4 the template they provide sticks to the wall, it will take some of the paint of your wall when you remove it#5 i took my level to the exact points for for the holes on the printed template, they did not line up 100% this depends on if the template was printed perfectly on a printing press. #6 drill 1 hole only with the template still attached to the wall. Mount the bracket to the wall with the lag bolt#7 line up bracket to the other hole and use a level on the bracket to see if it is perfectly horizontal, this is where the second printed hole may not line up. Use your level and mark the spot, then drill your hole and screw in the lag bolt. Mark off your other 2 holes to be drilled.

This thing is the way to go if you want to mount your flat screen that’s in this size range. Very sturdy and holds my 50 inch vizio with no issues. The other great thing is the amount of mobility the arms have. The studs i had to attach the mount to were not centered in the section of wall, but with the mobility of the arms it doesn’t matter.Excellent price point as well. You won’t find a mount of this quality for a better price. Look no further for your new tv mount.
