We have 3 visio tv and visio has some quirks about turning on and off by itself. But so far not on this and teck support helped fix it.
I love the smart features, so much easier than casting from phones. Remote great, little touchy. Don’t have an alexa, so can’t review that aspect, but if the trend continues, i can say it is probably good as well.
This has a good speaker sound all on its own, but it’s simple to connect additional speakers or a sound bar. Linked up quickly with our cable, phone etc. You can hang or put feet on for balancing on a shelf (or both). Easy to change channels etc. My husband and i were able to hang it ourselves.
I was using a 10 year old lg plasma screen dumb tv. It was just starting to have issues. So i replaced it with this vizio. It has every modern feature. And the picture is outstanding. The only issue is the worthless remote. It has serious problems connecting, it does not like to turn off the tv etc. Use the ap or get a 3rd party remote it will save you some pain.
I like the size of the screen and all the apps that are preloaded. Logging into my streaming services was easy peasey. I don’t have a cable box so i rely on an antenna, there are time when watching tv the 3 major networks have no sound. I also noticed you really have to raise the sound up on the streaming services as well. I am not a fan of the 4k and the screen can get a bit blurry but if you want to use it for gaming it’s great. All in all it was pretty good value for the money and i can deal with the few issues. I will be getting a sound bar though.
