DBPOWER Wifi Mini Projector

 i was looking for an inexpensive yet versatile projector for home use (as well as occasional presentations in dark rooms) and the dbpower 7000l was the perfect fit for my budget. In the box:- projector- power cable- hdmi cable- rca audio adapter cable- remote controlthe projector:the dbpower 7000l is surprisingly feature packed given its low price. The projector comes with built-in wireless casting as well as the ability to play media from either usb drives or sd cards. There is an hdmi input, vga input, and 3. 5mm ports for audio out and audio in. The unit also comes with every cable necessary for immediate use as well as a nice carrying case for easy transport. The weight of the entire set is 3-5 lbs (very light). This is a great piece of technology to have at for movies/tv (especially if you have a backyard). The build-in speakers are loud enough for indoor use and low-noise outdoor environments. The projector has sharp color and good visibility, particularly when used in low-light environments.

 i wasn’t a big fan of projectors due to the noise. The last projector i had was so loud i just went without. However this small compact projector is amazing. The noise is like a white noise that is soft and not overpowering. The picture quality is good and the fact that i can mirror off my ios device is also a neat feature my old projector couldn’t do. It comes in a nice bag that you can box up and take with you wherever. At first i thought the $120 price tag was a bit much for the projector however they offered a 30$ off coupon which helped with the price. Also for 120$ it should come with a stand.

This projector met all of my expectations considering the price point. It’s compact, has a nice case that holds everything and makes it easily portable, and provides a crisp picture. The only issue i had with this projector was that connecting to my devices was not exactly intuitive and it took awhile to get it set up. Once i had it set up and running i had no issues. You can see from my pictures that the projector provides relatively crisp pictures. As with any projector, the darker the room the better. The first picture of the rice field with the red-roofed buildings in the background is in a lit room and you can see that it looks a little fuzzy. In the end, i’m happy with the quality at this price point and once you get past set-up it’s a capable projector. One last piece of advice – avoid using the buttons on the projector unless you absolutely have to – the remote makes things much quicker and easier.

These projectors are of excellent quality. I had taken a gamble back in 2019 when i first purchased this brand of projector and had blown me away. I love to use the animated decorations for the holidays that utilize projectors and i have been slowly replacing the cheaply made ones you buy that are sold for that purpose (a small measly 600-800 lumens for the same price). This updated model blows away even their previous model. The construction of the projector is extremely solid and doesn’t feel cheaply made at all. It supports the most common connections you would expect from a projector such as vga, hdmi, sd card, usb and av port for the headphone to composite cable (red, white and yellow one) which will allow you to connect most any device on the market to the unit. Included with the updated model it now lets you connect wirelessly using your phone or any device that will let you stream wirelessly which is a plus. It does not have bluetooth unfortunately, but that isn’t a deal breaker here. In a dark environment, or at least a low light environment, the colors are vibrant and the picture looks amazing. When a window or shade is open, or the light level is daylight inside, the picture does lose some vibrancy, but it is still beautiful looking and sharp.

This wifi mini projector seems to have a good picture quality and good brightness level. Also, we definitely love that it comes with a remote control as far as things that thought could be improved was first the sound level. With it all the way up it just didn’t seem to be loud enough. But we found a sound bar on amazon that we hooked it up to. That helped to greatly improve the sound level. So sound really wasn’t an issue for us. The main thing i noticed that could be improved was that the fan on the projector seemed to be loud. And also it seemed to run alot during movies and be loud enough to be noticed during most of the movie. I understand it needs a fan to keep it cooled down though. Besides those 2 things it seems to be a quality projector with a nice picture quality.

4. Turn on Screen Mirroring on your iOS device, select the projector device “DBPOWER-XXXX” and connect it ;

How to Screen Mirror Your Android phone to this Projector?

1. Select “Cast Screen” in screen mirror after power on.

2. Turn on the WLAN (WiFi) and the mobile data traffic on your phone.

3. Turn on the wireless projection function in phone’s status bar or setting page, search “DBPOWER-XXXX” and click it to connect.
