MOOKA Native 1080p Projector

Really happy with my purchase so far. Love how portable the projector is (also comes with a convenient carrying bag). Great for presentations on the go, and also good for catching up on netflix. The speaker is loud and clear. The projector is missing keystone functionality so you need to project horizontally to get the sharpest image, but it’s bright and colorful enough to see clearly. I really like the ability to mirror my phone, use an hdmi, or load videos directly on a usb. Hard to beat this functionality for the price.

The projector came in promptly for an outdoor party i had over the weekend. I have a huge deck and had many guests over. We set up outdoor seating with a large white screen outside. I was able to connect my google chromecast to the device and play netflix, hulu, and youtube tv. The projector comes with a carrying bag, remote, hdmi cable, power cable and a/v cables if you need. I would recommend getting an adjustable tripod if you want to mount the projector. Sound is great quality too and loud. Overall, an excellent product and i would recommend this to any friend or family.

You don’t have to look further for a friendly and easy to use projector that’s lightweight and travel friendly. They even include a small case. (an expected surprise) the unit itself is fairly small and sturdy – it comes with a remote and knocks out a 1080p picture that’s respectably crisp. I like the fact that it’s not gigantic, with its small footprint packed in it’s case it’s still only a foot long (and 8” wide and 4” high). Throw a firetv stick in the case and you’ll have instant entertainment just about anywhere your portable generator takes you. I bought this unit with the intention of setting it up to present at conferences and i know it’ll excel at its intended purpose. It’s easy to set-up and get your settings dialed in. It has a speaker but i just used the sound-out jack on the back and connected to my bluetooth speaker without a hitch. The fan-noise however is a bit louder than i would prefer and i wouldn’t use this in a dedicated living-room theater set-up. Overall, you get a lot of value for the reasonable $130 price.

I have been using mooka projector 8500l for two evenings. It delivers a clear, bright, hd quality picture beyond my expectation for that price range. I replaced my 10 years old toshiba heavy projector with this small and light portable 1080p led projector, mainly used in video streaming box and iphone mirroring application. The 65w led provides an energy saving bright picture with adequate sound quality. It is very easy to set up with the well written user’s manual. The only difficult part is to adjust the projector location and height to fill up my projector screen without too much distortion. The keystone sliding button did help but not quite enough. The best way is to mount the projector on a camera tripod by one bottom screw hole. Then i could easily adjust the tripod to get a fine rectangular picture. The remote control works well, and the carrying case also looks nice.

 i intend to use this projector mainly for projecting holiday decorations. 99 (with a $40 coupon) when i bought it. Pros: at 1080p native resolution, the picture looks really good. Comes with a remote that is really easy to use with no complicated options. The menu is easy and fast to navigate. This is definitely the best feature on this projector, they have great volume and amazing fidelity, which is not something you expect from a projector, even a high end one. Ok: for the price tier, the price is faircons: it is a bit noisy, which is fine if you’re far from the projector, but it’s annoying if you’re close. After some time, you can smell the cables heating up.
