Mounting Dream UL Listed TV Mount TV Wall Mount Swivel and Tilt

I’ve owned this for 3 months now; this was also my first tv mount i’ve installed. I installed it in an older apartment onto a wall stud; mounting a 50′ sharp roku tv. As my first tv mount i was very surprised how easy this was to install. Tools needed to make it easy: stud finder, drill, drill bits, measuring tape, philips screw driver, torque wrench, pencil, brain. Find wall stud, knock to know the width, draw a line where the center is. Then put the mounting brackets on the the tv, put the mount onto the tv, and measure from the bottom of where the mount will be installed on the wall to the bottom of the tv. This tells you how high to install the tv. Then hold the mount up and mark where the screws will be placed in the stud. You don’t need to worry about installing the mount perfectly straight because the mount does have a decent degree of adjustment to level the tv.

I got this to mount a 55′ tv over my fireplace. I cannot say how easy it is to install, because i had the contractor who was renovating my townhouse install it, but he did not seem to have any trouble doing so. It is very sturdy on the wall. I should note that it was mounted entirely into wood supports. We added extra wood between the studs before the drywall was installed on the fireplace for the express purpose of mounting this. The instructions do say that it should not be installed just into drywall alone, but if you get all the screws/bolts into studs (which would probably be hard to do given the placement of the holes unless you actually have an open wall like i did where you can add wood supports between the studs) it is extremely sturdy. But, you should easily be able to get about half the screws/bolts into a stud and have it be secure. I am very satisfied with it.

For large flat screen tv’s durable brackets are very hard to find. I was skeptical at first but reviews from ‘verified purchaser’s’ are key when using amazon in my opinion. This product comes with all the necessary components to fit the tv sizes as described and comes assembled for fast wall mounting. As a bonus it includes a hq hdmi cable for your tv. There are precise directions that are easy to follow and very durable screws and anchors for mounting. I strongly suggest you spend $10 on a stub finder. I can only imagine if you have a tv larger than a 40inch the weight will be heavy. The bracket itself is by no means cheap.Feels like steel and the swing arm is strong.

I love this swivel wall mount. I am a 50-something woman and was able to install the mount by self. You will need a drill, socket wrench, tape measure if you want it at a certain height, a stud finder and a philips screwdriver. The only thing i needed help with was lifting the 50 inch tv. It comes with a cardboard cut-out of where to put the holes, so there’s no real measuring. I had called a handyman who quoted me $110 to install. Considering i’m a woman and installed the mount within 20 minutes, he should be ashamed for quoting me that. As for the mount, it is sturdier than i thought it would be. Heavy duty steel and after mounting it in the wall stud (very important you put the screw into the wood), there was no play in it whatsoever. It was solidly bolted into the wall.

They include every conceivable fastener for this thing to connect it to any tv. All of the fasteners are well organized. The mount is sturdy, with a great range of motion. I like how easy it was to adjust level, post install. Everything is very well done. I don’t have a good stud detector, so i just drilled screws in the wall to see where the stud is. That method doesn’t always get you in the center of the stud. As a result, one of my lag bolts didn’t hit the center of the stud. You need three, but four are included.
