AKASO Mini Projector

This device is so versatile you may not even believe it is as big as you cellphone. It turns on quickly and goes directly into the main menu. Wifi sharing works ok for android devices through a free app, but i experienced a better compatibility with ios screen sharing right away. Native definition is 480 don’t expect ultra detail but hey, you are sharing a picture in a device that you just got out of your front pocket. Big note here: it is for dark/ almost no light conditions. You can see the image in daylight but is not too bright. It comes with hdmi cable, a very useful remote control, a nice working tripod and a suitable charger. For the price is a great little device to have.

I’ve been wanting to switch my kopykake for a while but was unsure of what to buy. From the 3 options of pico that amazon offers, most ‘cookiers’ i know have bought the middle one ($120). That’s the one i was going for but reviews and comments kept repeating the focus was a problem. So i went for this one ($200) and i can’t be any happier. It took me a bit to be able to make the image square. The projector has to be at an angle but when i got to the perfect angle, the image flipped upside down. Went to image settinngs and turned auto v keystone off and turned the proyector around. . Now the image won’t flip and works great. It works perfectly in full light. I work by a sliding door and my work table has a giant lamp.

Your browser does not support html5 video.  i bought this for my son and he wanted to be the first to review it so he took a few pics and a short video. He spent days playing with it and loves it. Doesn’t take long to charge it fully up, works without being plugged into wall. Smaller than a smart phone and you can’t even hear this thing running. Best quality is in very dark room. Works with and without cables via app.

I was under the impression that this was a smart projector meaning it would come with streaming apps (netflix, youtube, hulu. Also i’m disappointed that it won’t play while connected to the charger so you can only watch about 1 movie. No binge watching your favorite series. Overall, the picture is nice in very dark rooms and the sound is sufficient. I connected to my bluetooth speaker for a more theater like experience. Still debating if i’ll be sending it back bc i really want to be able to watch multiple movies/shows when i finally get to relax at the end of the week.

I’m a cookie designer and had a hard time to copy a picture for clients by hand. But now, with this baby, i can do whatever my heart desirepro:easy set up. Very bright so i don’t have to work in the dark. I tested the audio, and it is very clearcons: i seems to not know how to flip the picture. So i flipped the pictures in my phone instead.
