SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class Frame Series – 4k Uhd Dual Led Quantum Hdr Smart Tv
We have been wanting this 65′ frame tv for nearly a near. When we noticed the 2021 version was released, we splurged and made the purchase. I have yet to find a any issues with this tv. Picture quality of this tv is remarkable. Remote control powers on both a usb to c cable (not included) and on the back side of the remote it has a small solar panel. We would normally leave installing wall mounted tv’s to professionals. However after watching a few youtube videos of installation of the 2021 version of the frame tv, it was quite easy. Samsung included a easy to use mounting frame template which you can use based on the size of your tv. We spent a little extra time making sure it was accurate along with measuring on the wall. The majority of time (75%) was spent hiding the fiber optic cable which comes with the tv.
Nice tv with great picture from straight on. Viewing angle is not as good as my old plasma this replaces. Wish they would offer this tv with the latest panel. Art mode is nice but clunky (you can’t put mats/shadow box on multiple pictures at once, you can’t have the pictures automatically go into slideshow mode when you power down). The apps and interface are fast and responsive. Overall i’m satisfied with the purchase.
Was a bit annoyed that many of the pictures are not free. I did not read the info carefully enough. Love having art instead of a blank scene.
I love how it fools our visitors into thinking it’s a picture frame and not a tv. It is definitely worth it and it has its own samsung tv channels for free, it gives you options to choose the streaming channels etc. I am not a tv expert but if you like some art pictures in your living room vs a black box, this is it. The only con for me is the remote. While it was great to keep it small, the buttons for the channel guide and volume are combined it took a while for me to get used to it.
Bought the 65′ model (2021). We love the art and find the subscription service well worth the cost. I have a picasso on my wall right now.The shadow box picture mount looks very cool, too. Mounting was fairly easy, and you can ignore that one star review with pictures, it’s obvious that the mount is incorrectly installed, no wonder it doesn’t sit correctly on the wall.
