I loved how easy it was to assemble. It is pretty sturdy for our 60′. I love how easy it goes side to side. If you do want to change the height, you have to carry it up, which is simple with two people (based on the weight of your tv). You cant just adjust it by pushing it.

First off, it helps to have your own tools – a wrench (crescent or open ended) and a screw driver. The instructions were straight forward and made sense. The main bolt for the ‘tower’ sections would not have been able to be fastened without my own tool as the little wrench that is provided provided no torque to turn the bolt all to way to a tightness needed for that support. The glass plate bottom looks nice on the cabinet i have the tv on. I purchased a 65′ flat screen to replace a 40′ which fit the tv cabinet just fine. The 65′ was too big for the cabinet with a board extending off the edge right and left to support the larger tv. Now i do not need the board and the tv stand fits nicely on the cabinet.

I do not understand why so have listed negative reviews for this item. It’s reasonably priced, easily assembled, arrived quickly and supports my 70 inch television with easeplus it has the added features of both tilt and swivel which is unheard of in this price range. I’ve only had it a few days but so far i am loving it. Wall mounting was not an option for me.

I’m not the most handy person and found this self explanatory for the most part. Pictures did all the work for me. This is not a one person job when it comes to, at least in my experience, installing on a 65” but i have no other choice and by the grace of all good was able to manage it all. It looks beautiful and premium. Touching it worries me a tad as it wobbles a tad but otherwise i feel like it will definitely hold and i have no interest in messing with it, just needed something to hold the tv up higher than my set up under. Should anything occur that requires update, i’ll be back on here to keep everyone posted.

I remember back when the first flat panel tv’s had awesome well engineered stands that withstood the tests of time. The day when you could count on your large screen tv to come ready to use with a quality sturdy built expertly engineered stand are over. Both samsung and sony tv’s today come with these pathetic stands that feel cheap and flimsy. To get a great tv stand i had to buy two of these mountup universal tv stand, table top tv stands for 37 to 70 inch flat screen tvs for my two 49 inch sony tv’s. The tv itself is awesome the tv stand it comes with is in every way abysmal. I two sony tv’s i brought come with cheap little legs that seem almost designed to cause tip over accidents. I have cerebral palsy so i,m a prime candidate for a tv tip over accident when the stand is so badly designed. This tv base is solid and heavy. Also this mountup universal tv stand, table top tv stands for 37 to 70 inch flat screen tvs does not eat up so much desk real estate. This stand is almost over built for my little 49 inch sony’s but i like it.
