Bloomidea Movie Projector
I purchased this projector on a whim because of the low price. So far i’m very happy with it. This is my first experience with a home projector and the performance is better than i expected for the price. If you are looking for a projector that will work in a bright room, it won’t, but projectors that do that don’t cost less than $100. I wish that it had autofocus but again the price is really low. The fan could be considered loud if you are watching something at low volume on the built-in speakers but if you plug it into external speakers that isn’t an issue. I’ve attached some photos, these were shot mid-day in a room with windows facing south and west. The curtains were closed and the room lights were off. I really feel like the performance is a lot better than it rightfully should be for this price. When the sun is down and the lights are off or dimmed it is great. I even pointed it at the vacant house next to me one night, and the picture was totally usable. The vacant house is over 25 feet away, that is outside of the operating description for distance so i can’t really complain. I plan to use this for some socially distant outdoor movie watching with family and friends.
If your sound isn’t working when you plug in your firestick. Follow the steps below on your firestick: settings, display and sound, audio, surround sound, then change to pcm. This projector is not supported by dolby digital sound so you have to change the settings on your firestick first. Took us over 2 hrs to figure this out. “fun times”you’re welcome .
great projector for the backyard movie night or even for your home theater. With everything going on we wanted to have a movie night by the fire. We need a projector that wasn’t huge and was nice and bright. It’s nice and bright when viewing movies outside. I love how it’s led so you don’t have to worry about bulbs burning out or breaking. Everything is built into one unit. It’s nice and compact compared to the older style large projectors. It has its own speaker so if you need to you can run the sound though the projector.
About what you expect for an $80 projector. Only good for movies and tv. Not usable for video games, vertical tearing is a significant issue.
this monitor worked well, once set up. We wanted to upgrade our projector for outdoor movies this year. This projector is a bit more compact and i was drawn to that feature. I have to say that the picture quality is far superior to my previous projector. It took a minute to get the picture on the screen, this projector does not have adjustable legs. Also, this projector is not bluetooth. We had to hook everything up, but there are plenty of ports of the side of the projector. I was able to hook up my roku easily and a speaker. Once the movie was going, we sat in the yard on the blanket and enjoyed our movie. There were no issues and everything worked great.
