Native 1080p Wifi Projector
Update to my original review. I was finally able to sit down and enjoy the projector last night on 6/23/21, and it has a good picture but the edges are pretty blurry. I hooked it up to my fire stick 4k and you cannot adjust the image enough to clear up the edges. It isn’t as noticeable when watching a movie, but it is very noticeable when you are reading titles or words. Also, the sound isn’t the best but i wasn’t expecting too much from that. I hooked up a portable speaker i use for music outside and it was much better. I probably wouldn’t purchase this item again. Great product for the price. For it’s small, compact size it has a great image and quality.
I put up a projector and screen on our deck for outdoor movie nights many years ago. I just replaced the 5 year old projector with this one and i can not believe how great it is. Two of the pictures i included are outdoors in daylight – though the screen is shaded, it was still very bright outside and the picture was very clear and totally watchable. Once dusk rolled around though, wow was this something.Upgrading to full 1080p made a huge difference, and the color balance is s way better than my old projector. Such a great deal too, hard to believe you can get this much of a great projector for so cheap.
A lot of other reviews show the picture. Here i thought i would just show my outdoor setup. This is a great way to spend some fun time outdoors on a warm summer evening with the kids and grandkids watching movies projected up against the house. Sometimes we hang a big sheet to use as a screen, but it is not bad against the house wall. Keep in mind that this is not a 4k projector, but a 1080p projector and i find the picture quality to be just fine, especially given the price. Very compact, lightweight, and easy to carry and store. I also do a lot of astronomy outreach to local schools and clubs, and i’ll also use this for presentations to lthem once we get back to meeting in person. It will be nice to not have to rely on someone else’s equipment. You can’t beat this for the price.
The dbpower q6 mini lcd video projector in my experience was easy to set up and performed just as advertised. Right out of the box, it was convenient to connect the device through a simple hdmi cable with my pc. You can then either duplicate your pc screen or use the projector as a second screen. Anything you see on the pc can be projected through the device. Multiple alternative inputs are available, including usb or screen monitoring. I tried photos, youtube videos, and ppt presentations. All was well visible at the advertised 1920×1080 resolution, even during daylight, and projected on a beige structured wall. I would expect that using a white screen, or even a white wall as a background would certainly provide a suitable background to watch, for example, a movie for an extended period without any eye strain. The device has a small internal speaker that works well in small spaces, but external speakers can be connected through bluetooth. The device itself is very quiet, in fact there is hardly any noticeable noise at all.
i am astounded at the quality and brightness of this projector. We got it for homeschool to watch certain videos and use astronomy apps but we’re choosing to watch tv and movies with this instead. The sound does go a lot louder than i had expected and the picture is clear. It’s so easy to mirror apps from the iphone. It’s even easier to pop in the fire stick and watch disney+, netflix, and prime videos. (these don’t work by simply mirroring you need the stick or other device to do this). The kids are loving it and movies night will never be the same. You can see from the photos that the picture is very bright and this is during the daytime with the overhead light off. When the light is on it’s the same picture quality. Who would ever need to buy a lay screen tv when you can project it on the wall (and the projection in the pic and video is about 6 foot wide). Setup took mere minutes – literally took longer to find an extension cord so i could project from the mantle. I’m so happy with this product and so happy we have another toy for class and leisureif you’re doubting this purchase or trying to decide between products i’d suggest this one all the way.
