I recently purchased an 86′ television from best buy, but they were out of wall mounts. Walmart was also out of stock. I guess after people bought up all the toilet paper they went after the wall mounts. This mount ships with everything you could possibly need to install it. There are five different sets of screws and lots of spacers, so no matter what the back of your tv looks like, this will probably work with it. My tv is 900×600 and this worked fine. It also comes with lag bolts for mounting into wooden studs and wall anchors for mounting into brick or concrete walls. After installation you will have a ton of extra parts. I taped the convenient cardboard template to the wall with painter’s tape, lined it up with wall studs, and made sure it was level. All the holes on the wall mount are oval, which gives you a lot of freedom to move it left and right to hit two different wall studs.

I ran into a unique problem. Went to mount on the wall that connects to my neighbor. To my surprise i found no horizontal fire break. What i did find is my drywall mounted on 1′ furring strips attached to a cinder block wall. I guess code was a little lenient in the early ’80s. I had to mount 2x4s through the package with 5′ concrete bolts into the cinder block. Half way through the project i decided to swap tvs. Of course the vesa mount hole were different on the tvs. Took my project apart, raised it, rebuilt it.

I installed the yesterday for my 65′ television. Install was pretty straightforward–locate studs, attach wall mount using a level, attach brackets to the back of the television, and then lift the television onto the wall mount. The package comes with all of the hardware you need. All you really need for installation is a drill, concrete or wood bits, a ratchet attaching the wood screws to the wall, a level, and a screwdriver. The brackets themselves were very easy to hang the tv to the wall. There is a strap on the bottom of each bracket that, when pulled down, allows the bottom of the bracket to be secured to the mount. You can slide the tv left or right to center it, or tilt the tv down slightly. It’s also nice because you can pull the tv straight out from the wall several inches to make all of your connections.

My new 75 inch samsung needed sime things i learned with experience. In hanging and even more important use and access to imputsunit hangs like most of others what makes it different it pulls away a few inches allowing easy acces to the back, no needed to remove tv to. Add or move aroind hdmi or other cables. It goes back flat taking weight off arms, my tv is 88lbs,. It is also very easy to ajust angle with the additional few inches, loosing big wing , tighten, push back.

– the build is high quality with convenient features. It’s very sturdy with a good finish. I have no fear of my heavy 65” tv falling. I did a self-install of the wall-plate, and my wife helped easily lift the tv into place. – i mounted the wall plate with 4 lag bolts to two wooden studs. I used a level and drilled pilot holes for the lag bolts. For my wall, i had to put the wall plate slightly off-center (due to wall cable openings), but the tv can be slid side-to-side for centering. It’s very easy & solid, just take your time to get it level & firmly attached. – the 2 vesa brackets for the tv have many adjustments to get the height i needed when attaching to the back of the tv. Try to measure where you want the tv top & bottom, compare to the top of the wall plate, then install the tv brackets appropriately.

• Finally, please check the TV back area inside the 4 mounting holes to make sure there are not any cables outlet. Otherwise, the plate may block the plugs.
