DR. J Professional 5g Wifi Projector

We’ve only used it once (twice, per the update below) so far, and even though it came with a screen, we projected our movie on to a pair of white indoor double doors (see photos) from my laptop through an hdmi. The screen came with hooks like command strips brand. We used the audio from my laptop, but i will update this review as we use this more. **update**the pictures are a bit misleading, as that you can simply project a streamed movie on to this projector. On the same note, the user manual says you must use an external speaker if you’ve connected a device through a vha cable, and not the projector’s built in speaker. The way i’m using it – from a macbook air’s mini display port to hdmi, and telling my laptop to push the sound through the projector (system preferences >sound >select projector/hdmi) and this thing cranks out quite the sound. Will try an ipad lightening cable to hdmi next and hope to get the same results, especially streaming disney+ for the kids. (that was my main purpose for this projector and i’m happy.

I was doubtful about how it would perfome having daylight and the result was surprisingly good. Have not tried it at night, but i guess it’s going to be awesome. Few things i do recommend: get a high stand, did not expect a screen and it came with one. Though the sound is ok, to have a better experience you should connect it to some hq speaker. Best gift to myself in a long time.

Your browser does not support html5 video.  i never do reviews, but i had to do one for this projector. Okay first i ordered a cheaper projector a month before i bought this one. Sent it back and upgraded to the dr. I’m crazy impressed by the quality of this projector. First up it was packaged nicely. I could tell it was a better projector just by the weight of the box. It comes with a nice screen.

Nice unit, very much seems like it is worth the investment. I do have one comment that if i could understand more, would help me increase my rating from 4 to 5 stars. The picture is good, the sound is decent, and the system is pretty easy to use. But, for some reason – now and again – when we turn on the system instead of booting up with the menu screen, all we get is a screen of colored vertical lines and nothing seems to happen. I thought it might just be booting up, but i’ve left in this state for several minutes each time this happens, and it just sits there with no way to interact with the system; the buttons don’t do anything. To overcome it i have to power it off, plus turn off the power supply in total — let it rest and then turn it back on. Sometimes it comes back on right away, sometimes i have to run this cycle several times before the problem corrects itself. Is this normal — or possibly am i doing something wrong (i really can’t imagine what i may be doing wrong?) — so i ask the question for some advice/help.

To say this projector is great is such an understatement. This is the very best projector i have ever used (and i’ve used a few). I took couple pictures with text on the wall to show you the clarity and how massive you can show your content. On the right of all those pictures is a door that brings perspective to how clear the pictures remain even at such a huge screen. Well donepros- native 1080p is obvious, quality/clarity is great- can set default display output (huge plus)- plenty bright, even for a well lit room- ability to connect to wifi and cast media to it- can easily be used with 300 inch screen (see pictures included on an 8 foot ceiling 20+ feet wall)- intuitive and easy to use interface- very good internal speakers and sound- massive focal control- comes with 100′ screencons:for the price, nonedefinitely a buy buy buy and then buy another again for another room or projects.
